OCEAP attends a number of public events in the communities we serve.  This has included Canada Day in the Town of Cobourg and the annual Float your fanny down the Ganny raft race in Port Hope.  OCEAP provides an extra set of eyes on the ground during these events as well as providing public education through our brochures and hand outs.

OCEAP actively partipates in the emergency exercises of our communities.  In most cases, OCEAP has an assigned role defined in the municipalities emergency plans.  These exercises combined with ongoing classroom and field training ensures that our members are prepared for the unexpected.
